This year for our Tennessee DeMolay University (TDU) we are going to be trying a hybrid in person/virtual event on Saturday March 27th at 10am Central/11am Eastern!
Ideally, we would like each chapter to gather locally in a safe, socially-distanced manner and join into the Zoom meeting as a group. For those that cannot get together as a group, you are all welcome to join remotely from home as well. The link will be shared closer to the event.
We are going to have a great group of guest speakers. We will have Dad Matt Cordoves of Missouri doing a presentation on helping to re-build your chapter and hopefully get a game plan on how we should plan to proceed as we come out of the COVID-19 Pandemic. In addition to working for DeMolay International as a field representative, Dad Cordoves has a lot of experience in this area first hand as even during the Pandemic, he has re-built an active local chapter in Missouri from a membership of 0 to 22 active members within the last year!
Additionally, we will have Dad Peter Brusoe, Executive Officer in New York and Past International Master Councilor present on Social Media and DeMolay. Dad Brusoe has extensive experience managing Social Media and will help your chapter with the latest ideas when it comes to implementing a good social media presence for your chapter. With everyone connected electronically, this is more important than ever!
The topics we are going to be covering are important for both members and advisors and we encourage every chapter to have as much representation as possible!
